BUILDING CONTRACTOR SPECIALISING IN LIME: Operating throughout south
and east Kent, Daws Building Conservation is run by Gareth Daws as a sole
trader specialising in the repair of historic buildings using lime. Repairs
are undertaken to brick, flint and plasterwork on traditionally constructed
buildings from the medieval to Edwardian eras as well as stone conservation
repairs to churches and their monuments. Having worked for two years as a
stone conservator for Canterbury Cathedral, past projects have ranged from
the stonework of National Trust properties and haired, lime plasterwork
in privately-owned country cottages to rebuilding brick churches.
