TERRACOTTA FLOOR TILES
: Norfolk pamments are traditional terracotta
floor tiles, handmade with skill and care from regional clays in South
Norfolk. They are frequently specified for restoration and conservation
projects, particularly churches and listed buildings. The ‘good as old’
appearance enhances gardens when used for paths and patios, as well
as complementing contemporary architecture. The charm of Norfolk
pamments lies in their individual character. The tiles are made from two
clays: pale Gault clay from Cambridgeshire and terracotta red clay, mixed
to create a spectrum of natural coloured tiles from pure buff through
pinks to classic terracotta red, in traditional sizes.
