'We advance the practice of archaeology and allied disciplines by promoting professional standards and ethics for conserving, managing, understanding and promoting enjoyment of the heritage.'

The historic environment belongs to everyone. Archaeologists are responsible for the care of a vulnerable and diminishing resource and for promoting understanding and enjoyment of the past. All archaeologists therefore have a duty to adhere to the highest professional and ethical standards, which are embodied in the CIfA's code of conduct.

5,000 copies of the Guide for Clients are distributed to specifiers of archaeological work and members of the CIfA, and it's also available free from the CIfA at https://bit.ly/2WFSfGJ

Please contact Cathedral Communications for information on advertising in the CIfA Guide for Clients or in the members journal The Archaeologist.
