Michael Pearce is a chartered architect and planner with particular knowledge and experience of the economics, planning and conservation of historic buildings and areas. His practice as a planner is based in Salisbury. He was at one time the chief planner of English Heritage.

Michael's clients have included English Heritage, local planning authorities, landed estates, and development companies. He has advised on the future of important historic buildings, sites, and urban regeneration schemes. He works closely with other leading professional firms, and has appeared as an expert witness at many public local inquiries.
