Established in 1973, GHK has extensive experience in the conservation, repair, refurbishment and reuse of listed and historic properties as well as the design of new buildings for sensitive and historic sites in both the UK and overseas. Current work includes the refurbishment of listed barristers chambers, the refurbishment of historic private houses, and a number of projects for Historic Royal Palaces with whom the company has a term commission. Awards include: RICS 2000 Conservation Award for Lulworth Castle, Dorset; Natural Stone Award 2002 for a new build country house in Gerrards Cross and 2002, 2004 and 2006 for restoration work at the Royal William Yard, Plymouth.
