A conservation-based philosophy is adopted with a sympathetic approach to the care and repair of historic buildings, aided by the use of traditional working methods and materials. Sensitive design for alterations and refurbishment, including new build where appropriate is also undertaken.

A full range of professional services is provided including pre-purchase surveys, repair schedules, preparation of measured surveys, construction drawings, specification and monitoring of building works, obtaining listed building, planning and building control approvals.

The principal, Andrew Hayes, is a chartered building surveyor, holds the RICS postgraduate diploma in building conservation and is a member of SPAB, and the IHBC.
