The Country Houses Foundation is a charitable grant giving foundation. The main aims of the Foundation are to support the preservation of buildings of historic or architectural significance together with their gardens and grounds, for the public benefit.
Trustees expect to make approximately six grants a year of between £50,000 and £250,000. To be eligible projects must contribute to a sustainable future for the building and provide some public benefit, typically in the form of a degree of public access.
