The name of Anglia Lead Limited (ALR) has long been recognised as one of the leading specialists for the supply and installation of lead sheet to historic and ecclesiastical buildings and for the past 10 years the installation of copper, zinc and stainless steel. From its factory in Norwich ALR has worked on many of Britain's most recognised buildings including places of worship and the finest stately homes installing its own sandcast lead sheet along with copper and zinc supplied by their partner manufacturers.
As a member of both the Lead Contractors Association and the Federation of Traditional Metal Roofing Contractors ALR's work is independently vetted by third parties and has repeatedly been graded as excellent. This excellent grade is not easily achieved and the standards of workmanship achieved have to be complemented with a technical standard that ensures the installed product not only looks spectacular but will give a life expectancy of up to 100 years.
To complement its roofing installations rainwater goods and decorative features can be produced as one - off items or the wholesale replacement for the complete building. Bespoke castings can be replicated from originals and originals can be restored.
