HERITAGE INSPIRED works with heritage faith sites, and related buildings across South Yorkshire. HERITAGE INSPIRED contributes to the awareness, knowledge and understanding of South Yorkshire's rich heritage (architectural, cultural and social) both among local people and visitors. They increase access to this heritage, and provide interactive experiences with it. HERITAGE INSPIRED is unique, the only project of its kind in the country. It is independant, run by three staff and a volunteer steering group. Funded by grants and donations, and are considered to be a national leader in the field of faith site tourism.
