METAL SHEET ROOFING AND ROOF DRAINAGE

Founded in 1825, Norman & Underwood, based in Leicester, has a proud history of restoring some of the world's finest ancient buildings.

Its skilled craftsmen have worked on the lead, copper, zinc and stainless steel roofs and stained glass windows of most of the UK's finest cathedrals, palaces, stately homes and prominent public buildings, including Salisbury Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Canterbury Cathedral, Windsor Castle, St Paul's Cathedral and Chatsworth House.

Norman & Underwood is one of the oldest and largest of the few remaining UK manufacturers of traditional sand-cast lead.

Although restoration roofing is a key part of the Group's activities, the company has adapted its glazing and roofing skills to work on some of the most high-tech, state-of-the-art buildings utilising the latest curtain walling and structural glazing techniques.
