ADVISORY BODY
The PMSA was founded in 1991 for the preservation, promotion and appreciation of public sculpture. It campaigns on conservation, listing and other issues. It publishes a scholarly journal devoted to sculpture and aims, through its National Recording Project, to record all Britain's public sculpture.
Other major campaigns include Save Our Sculpture - encouraging the public in active concern for sculptures at risk. It also administers the Marsh Award for Public Sculpture, and publishes the Custodians Handbook for beneficiaries of sculptors and owners of sculpture, studio contents etc. For further details about the Association and its activities, please go to their website.
