CONSERVATION CONTRACTOR, CONSULTANT AND ONSITE TRAINING
David Sleight has worked with historic fabric since 1979, including 18 years experience with English Heritage. He is familiar with sympathetic conservation repairs to brickwork, stone masonry, plasterwork and cob.
He has considerable knowledge of mortars, lime mortar repairs and repointing, stemming from many years working on sites of major historical importance. David has trained English Heritage employees, conservation officers, architects and homeowners in the theoretical aspects and practical skills required for repairing traditional buildings. He also has an extensive technical and practical background in the conservation of built heritage.
