The Building Limes Forum exists to encourage expertise and understanding in the use of building limes with members including architects, plasterers, academics, lime producers, engineers, craftsmen and women, conservators, surveyors, masons, conservation officers, builders, geologists, archaeologists and others. During this three day forum we will examine the many uses of lime in building, covering both conservation and new build, look at lime-related case studies with guided tours of various projects involving lime and receive presentations by delegates on topical issues. With evening events and plenty of opportunities to visit live sites, this is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the use of lime, both in principle and practice, and to develop links with like-minded professionals and craftspeople. |
