This professionally taught course is an excellent introduction to cutting letters in stone using hand tools. During the course students are introduced to the basics of both classical and contemporary letter forms by means of the creation of a simple inscription from initial design through to cutting and finishing techniques. This course is an ideal starting point for those interested in both the setting out & application of cutting letters in stone. |
