You might think building standards are as ‘dull as ditch water’ but working to relevant British and European standards for conservation work should be seen as best practice. More recently the standards for building limes have been revised to make the descriptions of binders more clear in terms of their setting and hardened properties and also to capture the range of formulated and blended binders (principally for new build applications). Aimed at Building Professionals and Building Contractors, this seminar will address the changes in the standards for building limes and explain the differences between HLs, FLs and NHLs. If you regularly specify lime mortars for conservation, repair and restoration work, or indeed new build, then this seminar is a must! |
