Railways arrived in Edinburgh in the 1830s, but it was the dash for Leith later in the century that had arguably the greatest impact on the city. What might have been? What was lost? What legacy survives? A talk by Tom Parnell, an architectural historian and a senior casework officer for Historic Environment Scotland.
