Churches: History, Significance and Use

5-6 July, 2018
Rewley House, 1 Wellington Square, Oxford

This course will provide a firm foundation in the history of church architecture and furnishings, and provides the skills to draft statements of significance. This will enable participants to analyse and evaluate proposals for change. The course will be of interest and value to all who would like to learn about the development of churches, but is aimed particularly at those who are actively involved in the management of church buildings and the presentation of church buildings to visitors. The focus of the course will be on Anglican church buildings.
