Join SPAB on a behind-the-scenes tour of Tarlair's historic lido. This is a fantastic opportunity to see how this Category A listed art-deco pool is being brought back to life. The once-glamourous buildings and pool had fallen into disrepair since closing in 1995. Parts of the triple-level pool were made safe in 2013, but the associated buildings remained at risk. On the visit, you'll see first-hand how the project is unfolding. There will also be plenty of time for thought-provoking discussion about conservation approaches to a 1930s building. |
