IHBC East Midlands and Yorkshire Branch are arranging a one day CPD event at Grimsby Docks known locally as the Kasbah. Grimsby was once the greatest fishing port in the world and later became the leading deep sea trawler port. In 2017 the area was designated a conservation area and subsequently has been subject to a Partnership Scheme in Conservation Area Scheme and Heritage Action Zone. Join the group for an enjoyable and interesting day exploring this unique area and the challenges of conserving and regenerating it. |
