HS2 Enabling Works North, Birmingham City Centre – Refurbishment of the old Curzon Street Station building

 

LM JV is the Joint Venture between Laing O’Rourke and J Murphy & Sons Ltd who are contracted to undertake the HS2 Enabling Works North.

As part of these works, we are required to complete the internal and external refurbishment of the old Curzon Street Station building (Grade I listed).

Works are to be carried out on the basement, ground, 1st and 2nd floors and will include the construction of new internal partitioning, repairs to floors, walls and ceilings, as well as the installation of ventilation, heating, BMS, drainage, fire detection systems, security systems, ICT services and an access lift. External works include landscaping, re-surfacing, and the creation of parking bays, bike racks, lighting and signage.

LM JV is looking for an appropriately experienced and qualified contractor with knowledge and experience of Grade I listed buildings and conservation projects.
