Established in 1966, Anthony Short
and Partners specialises in
‘conservative’ repair and reuse of
historic buildings. The firm’s client
list includes private individuals,
church and cathedral bodies. It is
currently appointed architects for
some 130 churches, several Grade I
or II*, in three dioceses and has
successfully completed numerous
church reorderings and repairs.
Secular work includes sympathetic
listed building repair and
refurbishment, conversions and
extensions, surveys and feasibility
and conservation studies. The
practice is familiar with all forms of
grant supported work and is
sympathetic to the needs and
financial constraints of churches,
public bodies and community
groups. CAD facilities are used
where appropriate. Client
satisfaction and attention to detail
are the highest priorities.
