For 60 years the National Churches
Trust has helped churches, chapels
and meeting houses stay open.
The trust funds repairs and
modernisation, provides expert
advice on church maintenance and
on how churches can continue to
serve local communities and
promotes church tourism. Since
1953 (when the trust was founded
as the Historic Churches
Preservation Trust) the National
Churches Trust has given over
12,000 grants and loans to help
places of worship of all
denominations throughout the
United Kingdom. Help the trust
to continue this work by becoming
a Friend of the National Churches
Trust.
