Light Perceptions was formed in 2002 as a consultancy practice focused on the specification and project management of lighting and associated systems for discerning clients in historic buildings. The practice is always engaged on projects in a number of Cathedrals and major churches, Historic Royal Palaces, galleries and exclusive private residences in Europe and the Middle East.
After 21 years as an independent practice, Light Perceptions has joined forces with CBG Consultants, one of the leading independent sustainability led MEP practices in the UK to form CBG Light Perceptions, a specialist lighting consultancy division.
With a growing focus on sustainability in all stages of the construction lifecycle, the combination of Light Perceptions’ expertise and CBG’s resources means the practice offers in-house and comprehensive low carbon, managed lighting and MEP solutions across all projects.
CBG Consultants is an MEP and sustainability consultancy founded in 1997 with over 60 staff across offices in Oxford, London, Manchester, and Cambridge, specialising in mechanical and electrical consultancy in the heritage, education, transport, public and healthcare sectors. It operates Quality Assurance to ISO 9001:2015 standard and as a Sustainable Business to ISO14001:2015.
