HISTORIC BUILDING CONSERVATION CONSULTANCY
A conservation-based philosophy is adopted with a sympathetic approach to the care and repair of historic buildings, aided by the use of traditional working methods and materials. Sensitive design for alterations and refurbishment, including new build where appropriate is also undertaken.
A full range of professional services is provided including; heritage appraisals, repair schedules, preparation of measured surveys, construction drawings, specification and monitoring of building works, obtaining listed building, planning and building control approvals.
The senior partner, Andrew Hayes, is an RICS conservation accredited chartered building surveyor and is a member of SPAB, and the IHBC. Recipient of Somerset Building Preservation Trust Historic Building Award 2025 for restoration of Grade 1 listed building. |
