Adventures in Preservation (AiP) is a non-profit working to safeguard architectural heritage and foster sustainable development via experiential travel. AiP 'adventures' combine volunteer service, hands-on learning and cultural exploration.
Each adventure is unique, developed around a community initiative to save a historic building and make it part of a vital neighborhood. No experience is needed for you to provide critical input and become part of the collaboration between volunteers and the community.
In connecting people and preservation around the world, AiP projects highlight the ecologically 'green' approach of historic preservation. Whether working to provide affordable housing, support heritage tourism, or help create new jobs in historic building maintenance, AiP volunteers help the project community build a sustainable future. |
