Huning Decorations recreates and restores historic painted decoration and murals. Saskia Huning has extensive recreating and re-touching skills and can recreate large areas of wall paintings or repair and re-touch small damages. Working with historic paint analysis information, whole decorative schemes can be recreated.
Recent projects include: The David Parr House; recreating wall decoration, Sir John Soane’s Museum; re-touching damaged paintwork, Savile Club Ballroom; recreating the Ballroom ceiling decoration, Abbey Mills pumping station; recreating the polychrome cast iron interior decoration.
