This is a two-day training opportunity and offers a valuable 'before and after' survey experience. The 'before' course happens on 31st Jan. Historic timber-frames should be considered as being 'high-risk' building surveys. They are high-risk to the surveyor but also high-risk for the client. It is essential that the surveyor is competent and experienced in this type of construction. The survey should be declined otherwise. This training will cover common timber-frame defects and help you to understand how to make decisions regarding the condition of the frame and whether or not those observations might be serious or not. |
