The Temple Trust is an historic building preservation trust for England and Wales devoted to the preservation of ornamental garden buildings. It is a fundraising trust and operates proactively.
The trust is currently developing a resource facility for the study of garden and architectural history/conservation.
The Temple Trust was honoured with the Georgian Group Architectural award in 2007 for its project at the Cilwendeg Shell House, Pembrokeshire. The project architect was Roger Clive-Powell, project co-ordinator Suzannah Flemming MA and the shell work conservator was Blott Kerr-Wilson. The winning category was ‘The Restoration of a Georgian Garden Building’. |
