STONE IDENTIFICATION AND SOURCING
Lambs stone specialists will carry out site surveys to identify stone types in order to ensure customers receive the best advice available on the uses of stone. Clients can also send in stone samples for identification. Lambs offers a complete range of indigenous British natural lime and sandstones such as Portland, Bath and York stone from large stocks as well as Wealden Sussex Sandstone from its own quarry. Lambs also stocks unique foreign stone and if required, Lambs can offer wet cast and dry pack reconstituted stone to its clients. However, the company would generally recommend using natural stone as a preferred option. Once the survey has been undertaken and the required stone has been identified, working drawings are then produced and provided to Lambs' clients for approval.
