Operating throughout the UK and Ireland, FDPC Plaisterers Award winners Ornate Interiors are primarily involved with the conservation and restoration of historic plasterwork including lime plastering, running in-situ both internally and externally as well as external rendering and harling works. They also restore and replicate fibrous plaster mouldings from a sample of existing plasterwork, architectural drawings or by simply referring to a photograph.

Ornate Interiors provide Advisory Reports on behalf of many individuals or organisations responsible for the stability and safekeeping of a property. This service provides homeowners, venue managers, architects, quantity surveyors and local authorities with a comprehensive report on the condition of plasterwork within a building. There are several types of reports available from a basic visual inspection to a comprehensive intrusive survey. Each will provide a list of recommendations for improvements and advice on materials and methods required to carry out the work.
Also offering short training courses for restoration enthusiasts as well as contractors, specifiers and plasterers, please contact Ornate Interiors for details. |
