CLAY ROOF TILES

: Dreadnought manufactures the finest naturally

coloured clay roof tiles using the same techniques and processes that

have defined the company over its 200 year history. Coupled with

this now unique facility to generate traditional natural clay colours,

Dreadnought also manufactures bespoke ornamental ridges and finials

as well as handmade fittings. Dreadnought generates colours through

the careful control of the kiln atmosphere without the use of surface

stains or coloured sands. This traditional technique delivers vibrant

clay colours that look natural on the roof and blend particularly well;

sometimes colour blends are the solution to match discontinued tiles

produced in coal fired kilns.
