The Baptist Union of Wales is a fellowship of around 300 churches. Some of the church buildings are held in trust by the Welsh Baptist Union Corporation and when those buildings are listed the consent of the Baptist Listed Building Advisory Committee is required for 'any extension, alteration or work to the listed building itself, any object or structure within the building or fixed to the exterior of the building and generally for any object or structure within the curtilage of the building' (from LB01: Introducing the Listed Buildings Advisory Committee).
