Voluntary body

The Church Recording Society is the national body for the volunteers who survey and record the treasures found in the UK's churches and chapels, and it co-ordinates and provides resources for church recording groups nationwide.

The society took over responsiblilty for this work from the Arts Society (formerly NADFAS) in 2021.
