The Civic Society Initiative was set up following the demise of the Civic Trust in 2009 to find a way forward for civic societies and the civic movement in England.
Civic Voice, was launched in 2010 as an umbrella organisation for the national network of 1,000 civic societies. Civic Voice works to make the places where everyone lives more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive. It speaks up for civic societies and local communities across England.
