LEARNED SOCIETY
Founded in 1879, the Society is for those who love churches and are interested in their architecture, furnishings and use. The Society publishes newsletters and a bi-annual journal Ecclesiology Today, holds an annual conference, and organises visits, tours and lectures. The Society has over 800 UK members including architects, art and architectural historians, archaeologists and others who have a general interest in church buildings.
