FUNDING RESOURCE

The HHF is a charitable grant giving foundation. Its main aims are to support the preservation of buildings of historic or architectural significance together with their gardens and grounds, and to support the restoration and conservation of works of art in historic houses open to the public. Unfortunately churches are not supported unless linked to a country house or estate.

Trustees meet quarterly to assess applications. To be eligible projects must contribute to a sustainable future for the building and provide some public benefit, typically in the form of a degree of public access.
