ICOMOS-UK is the United Kingdom branch of the International Council on Monuments and Sites, an international non-governmental body of people professionally concerned with conservation. It sets the standards in conservation and heritage philosophy, management and techniques. ICOMOS-UK runs seminars and conferences, has an active membership and provides advice to the government on UK World Heritage Sites.
