Light Perceptions was formed in 2002 as a consultancy practice focused on the specification and project management of lighting and associated systems for discerning clients in historic buildings.

The practice is currently engaged on projects in a number of Cathedrals and major churches, Historic Royal Palaces, galleries and exclusive private residences.

Projects underway in 2020 include work at Blenheim Palace, Fishmongers Hall, Kensington Palace, the Cathedrals of Leicester, Lincoln, Liverpool (Metropolitan), Southwell and Westminster, as well as St George’s Chapel, Windsor, Lancaster Priory and some twenty or so parish churches.

Past projects include work at Hampton Court Palace, the Tower of London, St John’s College Cambridge, Campion Hall Oxford, the Brazilian Embassy, the British Museum, the National Maritime Museum, the National Railway Museum, Birmingham Think Tank as well as privately owned residences and hotels across the UK.
