The company was established in 2005 to provide support and advice to all those responsible for the repair and maintenance of historic buildings, monuments, sculptures and sites, both in the UK and abroad. Since then, it has become known for delivering carefully considered, detailed, clear and practical advice. Angus Lawrence and David Odgers (both accredited conservators) are the principal consultants who also work with other professionals including architects, surveyors, curators, structural engineers and conservators of other disciplines.
