Alpha provides full guidance, surveys and documentation for planning requests, EcIA and conservation matters relating to all protected species (inc. EPS) and habitats in the UK, including mammals and all bat species, birds, reptiles and amphibians.

Successful EPS licenses like rare bats within historic buildings are a regular element of Alpha's work, preparing method statements, mitigation and management plans.

The company is led by director and principal ecologist Jon Kendrew BSc MSc MIEEM Chartered Environmentalist. Personally licensed to work with all UK bat species, schedule I listed barn owl, Jon has worked at local and national levels, including many historic buildings.
