BuildingConservation.com attracted over 570,000 unique visitors in 2011, excluding visits by indexing robots. The total number of hits was almost 12 million.

The monthly visitor numbers follow a similar pattern each year, with the busiest months being September to March, peaking at around 61,000 visitors per month.

61,000 visitors used the BuildingConservation website in November 2011. Most visits to pages on the site were made by regular visitors who found the site directly, without going through a search engine or any other website.

Most popular page

Our most visited page is usually the index of products and services (prodlist.php - see below), but in November it was our new flip-though edition of the magazine Historic Churches that attracted the most interest, with well over 50,000 visits. Such a high level of interest is unprecedented. The magazine is published annually, with a printed circulation of 5,500 copies, and the next edition is being prepared for publication in the autumn.
