Helen Hughes – Historic Interiors Research & Conservation (HIRC)
has vast experience of providing a clear understanding of the decorative
history of historic interiors and architectural structures by combining
hands-on building investigation, documentary investigation and paint
analysis. Research programmes are tailored to meet specific projects
requirements and deadlines. Research findings may be presented to
clients in PowerPoint format as well as fully illustrated jargon-free
reports with coloured elevations depicting successive historic schemes.
Conservation plans, conservation option proposals, conservation
specifications and redecoration programmes can be devised based on the

: Lisa Oestreicher provides a full range
of analytical skills and techniques for the study of paint and decorative
finishes within historic buildings. These include the identification
of pigments and media as well as archival research. Full reports are
