1747 Treasure & Son is one of the region’s leading specialists in the
conservation and restoration of historic buildings and monuments. The
firm has a wealth of experience and was awarded the Building of the
Year for the Mappa Mundi Library in Hereford and a Wood Award for
the admissions building at Kenilworth Castle. Recently completed works
include the new restaurant at Hidcote Manor, major works to the roof
of Hagley Hall, the Cadbury’s Sports Pavilion, stone replacement works
at Warwick Castle, repairs to St Mary’s Church, Thornton Le Moor and
refurbishment work on many private houses in the Midlands and border
counties. The firm has its own in-house joinery and stone masonry
workshops.
