The JNAPC consists of individuals, and representatives of institutions and government bodies who are involved with the underwater cultural heritage.
The aim of the JNAPC is to raise awareness of the United Kingdom's underwater cultural heritage and to seek ways whereby underwater sites of historical importance should receive no less protection than those on land through improved legislation. The JNAPC also continues its campaign for the education of all sea users about the importance of our nautical heritage and it is seeking better funding for this emerging discipline.
