CAST METAL PRODUCTS INCLUDING BESPOKE ITEMS

nationwide, Castaway undertakes any cast metalwork project using

aluminium, bronze and gun metal, grey and nodular (SG) iron, carbon

steels and stainless steels. Castings for historic buildings include gutter

sections and other drainage ware, airbricks, wall retaining plates,

brackets, gates and railings, signage, window frames and much more.

Items can be made from drawings, photographs or from sight of originals

– broken, corroded or intact. Items can be made from standard existing

patterns or to your own designs in any quantities; from one upwards.

In house pattern making facilities are available if required. Contact

CONSERVATION

: Prize-winning, Icon-accredited conservators for

architectural, structural, artistic and marine metalwork. Vastly

experienced in the repair of an enormous range of historic metalwork:

orangeries, glass houses, bridges, bandstands and windows. Recent

projects include: bronze windows in Manchester Town Hall; the

Bannockburn memorial; and Birmingham’s Boer War memorial. Eura’s

craftspeople can replicate missing wrought repoussé elements or model

missing parts. The company also designs and moulds new additions

to existing memorials and has a modern kiln which can replicate

antique glass effects. Eura can also undertake in situ lead repairs on

historic roofs, steeples and rain goods, including conserving and/or

repairing lead statuary on site or in house.
